About the event
Create your own art journal - Create some printed papers to use in your journal.
Learn a simple book binding technique and use to compile your own journal.
Discover different art journal styles and investigate which suits you
and add your choice of some crafty techniques from a wide range of resources
Join me for a relaxed two and a half hours of making. We'll fill the pages of a small art journal with layered prints, torn paper and soft textures, droodling.
You'll explore simple printing techniques, build up collaged backgrounds and play with texture until the pages feel like your own. No experience is needed and there's no right or wrong way to begin. We'll start with a viewing a selection of my journals and pages, for inspiration.
