About the event
 Foundation piece patchwork is one of my favourite patchwork methods and a great way to use up small pieces of fabric.
In this workshop you will use letters to create a word. The pictures show LOVE but you could do a name, or if you have a word for the year you could work on that.
Learn the techniques:letter design, auditioning fabrics, piecing on a fabric base, squaring blocks, using a rotary cutter, joining blocks, adding quiltingÂ
Tuition, all materials and equipment and Home made heart cookies included. Please advise or any dietary or other needs.
Choice of two dates/times: Friday evening or Saturday afternoon
Small friendly class in the cosy ecclesal textile School sewing lounge. Maximum of 5 participants to ensure you get all the support you need.Â
Sewing machines are provided, but if you would prefer to bring your own that is fine. This workshop is suitable for those who know how to thread and use straight stitch on a sewing machine.Â
